• Shipper and quote information. When you request a quote or arrange freight, we collect your name, company, email address, and phone number, along with shipment details such as origin and destination, commodity type, weight, equipment needs, and pickup and delivery dates.
• Carrier information. When you work with us as a carrier, we collect your company details, USDOT and MC numbers, insurance certificates, authority and safety records, driver and equipment information, and the documents in your carrier packet.
• Text message (SMS) information. If you opt in to SMS, we collect your mobile number to send load status and delivery notifications. See Section 5.
• Automatically collected information. Like most websites, we may collect device type, browser, IP address, pages viewed, and referring links through cookies and similar technologies.

2 How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to quote requests and prepare rate estimates;
• Broker and coordinate freight between shippers and carriers, including pickup, tracking, and delivery;
• Vet and qualify carriers (including FMCSA/SAFER and insurance verification);
• Send shipment updates, delivery notifications, invoices, and payments;
• Provide logistics support for federal and government contracting where applicable;
• Operate, maintain, and improve our website;
• Comply with legal, regulatory, and FMCSA obligations; and

• Shippers and carriers. To arrange and execute a load, we share the details needed to book, dispatch, track, and deliver freight (for example, sharing pickup and delivery information with a booked carrier, or carrier and tracking information with the shipper).
• Service providers. Vendors who help us operate, such as transportation management, load boards, hosting, SMS, email, and analytics providers, under confidentiality obligations.
• Government and regulatory. Agencies in connection with federal contracting, licensing, or as required for FMCSA and regulatory compliance.
• Legal and safety. When required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of J2SCG, our clients, carriers, or others.
• Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
